LaMonte Wade's three-run home run was the difference in the game

MOBILE, Ala. -- LaMonte Wade hit a three-run home run in the seventh inning, and Andy Wilkins homered as the Chattanooga Lookouts topped the Mobile BayBears 4-2 on Friday.
The home run by Wade scored Dan Rohlfing and Nick Gordon to give the Lookouts a 4-0 lead.
Chattanooga starter Dereck Rodriguez (4-1) picked up the win after allowing just four hits over five scoreless innings.
In his seventh start since making the jump from Fort Myers, Rodriguez threw five shutout innings.
He gave up four hits, a walk and struck out six batters. He cruised through the first five innings, but opened the sixth by giving up a single and a walk.Rodriguez was lifted after 77 pitches in favor of Ryan Eades.
Tyler Carpenter (1-5) took the tough loss in the Southern League game after allowing one run and four hits over 5 2/3 innings.
In the bottom of the ninth, Mobile saw its comeback attempt come up short after scoring two runs to get within two.
Nick Anderson struck Wade Wass out with runners on first and third to end the game for his third save of the season.
Chattanooga improved to 6-2 against Mobile this season.

The Lookouts will go for their fourth straight win over the BayBears Saturday night in Mobile.
