Minister Dr. Mamie A. Cooper, 78, passed away on July 22, 2017. She was a faithful member of Greater Friendship Primitive Baptist Church for over 65 years.  She was a teacher and administrator in Chattanooga  for 33 years.

 

She was preceded in death by her husband, Glenn Cooper and son, Gerald Smith.

 

She leaves to cherish her memories her children, James Smith and Celestine Favors; grandchildren, great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends.

 

Public viewing will begin at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, July 26, at Greater Friendship Primitive Baptist, immediately followed by the funeral at noon.  Interment will be in Chattanooga National Cemetery.  Please visit johnpfranklinfh.com to view the complete obituary.
