Charlotte Ann Chaney, 44, of Whitwell passed away Thursday, July 20, 2017. She was preceded in death by her two daughters, Amber and Emily; father, Leroy Layne; stepfather, Terry Harris; stepmother, Susan Cox; grandfather, Cecil Layne; grandparents, Milton and Sue Hunkapillar, Uncle Vernon Bradford; sister, Charlene McHone.
Those left to cherish her memories are her husband, Charlie Chaney; three children Charity and Charles Chaney, Tanya Hunter; granddaughter, Carley Meeks; mother, Imogene Layne; Moma, Barbara Harris; brothers, Randy Layne, Jeff Layne, Ray (Angie) Layne, Tim (Cristy) Layne, Ryan Layne, Matthew Layne; sisters, Glenda (George) Layne, Kimmy (Shannon) French, Jessica Cox, Tabitha (Justin) Bundy, Danielle Layne, several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
Family will receive friends 1-8 p.m., Saturday, July 22.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m., Sunday, July 23 in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Jerry Basham officiating. Interment at Griffith Creek Cemetery.
