Jason Roberts
Jason Roberts, 41, of Soddy Daisy, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, June 22, 2017, in Carlisle, Iowa.
Jason attended Soddy Daisy High School. He was a construction laborer and worked for DES Employment Group in Des Moines. Jason enjoyed riding motorcycles, camping, and spending time with his children and grandchildren. He was a member of the Church of Christ.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Andrew Dickinson, Bill and Ruth Roberts.
Jason is survived by his wife, Melinda; children, LaraRae, Kerra, Maddie and Joshua Roberts; grandchildren, Jensen and Lettie McDonald; mother and step-father, Carolyn (Bill) Poston; father and step-mother, Paul (Rosa) Roberts; grandmother, Betty Dickinson.
The family will receive friends from 2-3 p.m. on Saturday, July 29, at Middle Valley Church of Christ, 1836 Thrasher Pike, Hixson, Tn. 37343.
A Celebration of Jason’s Life will follow at 3 p.m. on Saturday, at the Church with Minister Larry Clements officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Kidney Foundation, 1307 Carter Street, Suite A, Chattanooga, TN 37402 or the Mayo Clinic, 200 First Street, Southwest, Rochester, MN 55905.
Arrangements are by the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory and Florist, 5401 Highway 153, Hixson, Tn.
