Verlin Sneed, 78, of Cleveland, Tn., passed away on July 23, 2017.

He was the son of the late Charles and Bessie Hickman Sneed. He was also preceded in death by his sister Mary Elizabeth Knott of North Little Rock, AR.

He is survived by his wife Betty; son Stephen (Fina) and special granddaughter Sofia of Aliso Viejo, CA; brother Ralph (Linda) of Cleveland, TN; sisters Joyce ONeal of Cleveland, Betty Black (Ken) of Vicksburg, MS and brother in law Charles Knott of North Little Rock, AR; nieces and nephews: Beth Sneed Rose (Dale) of Buford, GA, Michael Black (Ann) of Jackson, MS, Jeff Knott (Christy) of Nashville, TN, Katherine ONeal of Cleveland, TN, Carla Knott Torrijos (German) of Fayetteville, AR and Chris Black (Gabi) of Kirkwood, MO. In addition to these he leaves behind numerous great nieces and nephews. 

The family will receive friends from 1-3 p.m. on Thursday, July 27, 2017 at First Baptist Church located at 1275 Stuart Road. A celebration of life service will be held at 3 p.m. at the church with Reverend Rusty Asble officiating. Interment will follow the service at Sunset Memorial Gardens with his nephews and friends serving as pallbearers.
