Patricia Easley
Patricia “Pat” June Easley, 73, of McDonald, died on Wednesday, July 26, at the home of her son, Stephen Easley.
Mrs. Easley was the daughter of the late Maude and Richard Humphreys. Her sister, Jane Humphreys and her husband, Bobby L. Easley, also preceded her in death.
Mrs. Easley was a graduate of Chattooga High School and voted Miss Chattooga High in Summerville, GA. She received her B.A. Degree from Tennessee Temple University and launched her 45 years of ministry as a Christian elementary and high school teacher in 1970, including 12 years at United Christian Academy in Cleveland. During her 30 years of marriage, she was a dedicated pastor’s wife for 20 years. Serving God in ministry and teaching were her passions.
Survivors include her daughter, Rebecca J. Barringer and her husband, Benjamin, of Marietta, GA.; son, Jonathan D. Easley of Chattanooga, son Stephen N. Easley and his wife, Kayleen, of Lenoir City; grandsons, Josiah Barringer of Marietta, GA, Nathaniel and Caleb Easley of Lenoir City; granddaughters, Olivia and Lydia Easley of Lenoir City; brother, John Humphreys and wife, Dianne, of Summerville, GA; sister, Betty Dotson and husband, Dale, of Lyerly, GA; several nieces and nephews.
A Remembrance of Life Service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday at Jim Rush Funeral and Cremation Services Wildwood Ave. Chapel with Stephen Easley and Pastor Josh Spangler officiating. The interment will follow in the Earls Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Saturday, from 12-2 p.m. at the funeral home.
