Free Admission To Point Park To Celebrate The National Park Service’s Birthday Aug. 25

To celebrate the National Park Service turning 101 years old, Chickamauga and Chattanooga National Military Park is waiving the entrance fee to Point Park on Friday, Aug. 25.

"Come enjoy the beautiful views of Chattanooga and its surrounding areas," officials said.

During the day, ranger-guided tours are given at 11 a.m., 2 p.m., and 4 p.m. The tours begin inside the Point Park entrance gate and last approximately 45 minutes.

"We will also be selling the Lifetime Senior Pass for permanent US residents who are age 62 or older for $10 at the Point Park fee station," officials said.
