Community Invited To Downtown Chattanooga Parking Study Open House

  • Monday, August 14, 2017

At the open house on Monday, Aug. 28, the community will be able to give input to inform a comprehensive parking study of downtown Chattanooga.

The study is being commissioned by River City Company and the Chattanooga Area Regional Transportation Authority in partnership with the city of Chattanooga. Funding is provided by the Lyndhurst and Benwood Foundations along with several downtown stakeholders including Erlanger Health System, UTC, and Siskin Hospital for Physical Rehabilitation.

Everyone is invited to the open house to give feedback for the study, which is being conducted by Nelson/Nygaard Consulting Associates, a consultant team that was selected in January through a request for proposals process.

It will be from 5:30-7:30 p.m. at the Bessie Smith Cultural Center, 200 E. M.L. King Blvd.
