J.D. Farris, 69, a lifelong resident of the Cleveland area, passed away on Saturday, August 12, 2017, at his home.
J.D. served his country as a marine and served in Vietnam. He was very proud of his family and also loved driving his truck.
He was preceded in death by his wife; Denna Farris; Father and mother, Earl Sr. and Delcie Farris.
He is survived by his siblings, Ruth Garrett, Earl Farris jr., Tom Farris, Fletcher Farris, Gary Farris, Larry Farris; children, Angela Smith, Chad Farris, Dewy (Robin) Farris, Regina Laughlin, John (Heather) Farris. He also has ten grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
There will be a celebration of life service on Thursday, Aug. 17, at 8 p.m. at the Companion Chapel.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. preceding the service also at the Companion Chapel, at 2415 Georgetown Road NW, Cleveland, Tn. 37311.
