Walker County Business Conference Sponsored By SouthCrest Bank Will Be Held Sept. 26

The Walker County Chamber of Commerce will host its annual Business Conference on Tuesday, Sept. 26. The event will begin at 8:30 a.m. at the Walker County Civic Center.

The keynote speaker is Vincent Phipps, an award-winning international speaker, author, trainer, and CEO of Communication VIP Training and Coaching. “Amplify Your Attitude!” combines what Mr. Phipps calls the three most important dynamics of attitude: motivation, communication, and leadership.

Additional topics include: How to Grow Your Business Through Facebook; Personal Safety and Situational Awareness; Cash Management/Ask the CPA; HR in 2017: What Employers and Managers Need to Know; Protecting Yourself from Internet Fraud; and A Proactive Approach to Office Technology.
