Christeen Carnes Scoggins, 73, of LaFayette, passed away Saturday, August 19, 2017.
She was a member of Fairview South Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Terry Scoggins; parents, William “Dub” Carnes and Alma Cook Carnes; brother, Fairley Carnes; and daughter-in-law, Julie Scoggins.
She is survived by her son, Terrell Scoggins of LaFayette; grandchildren, Trei Scoggins and Marshall Scoggins; sisters, Liz (John) Young of Summerville, Jo (Eddie) Wallin, Sue (Charlie) Gilbreath, Ann (Jerry) Williams, and Elouise Cantrell all of LaFayette; brothers, Gene Carnes of Chatsworth and Charles “Bud” (Pam) Carnes of LaFayette; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 24, in the Wilbanks Memorial Chapel with Pastor Lowell Cantrell officiating. Interment will be in Wesley Chapel Cemetery.
Visitation is from 6–9 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home.
