Morning Pointe Seniors Witness Solar Eclipse

  • Tuesday, August 22, 2017

Morning Pointe Senior Living residents across the Chattanooga area witnessed a rare celestial event, as the Great American Solar Eclipse made its path through the Southeast. It is likely that many of the residents hadn't witnessed the heavenly spectacle since 1979.

Morning Pointe seniors, associates, families and volunteers camped out in the courtyards at the assisted living and Alzheimer's memory care communities, snacking on Moon Pies and sipping Sundrop while practicing solar eclipse viewing safety with the help of ISO-certified glasses.

Morning Pointe's life enrichment and Meaningful Day(tm) programs give seniors the opportunity to enjoy new experiences with friends, peers and loved ones.
