Run of Honor 8K: Road
closures for this
event include Main St between Madison St. and Carter St., as well as lane
closures on Bailey Ave, Central Ave. and S. Holtzclaw Ave from
6am to 10am.
The Run of Honor 8K and 1 mile fun run is held to support the public servants of our community and is organized together with the Fraternal Order of Police from Rock City and the Chattanooga Market. Riverside Drive/Riverfront Parkway between Aquarium Way and Molly Lane, Chestnut Street and Power Alley between Aquarium Way and Riverfront Parkway, and the southbound Veterans Bridge ramp to Riverside Drive will be closed from 9:00 am Monday, September 4th until 5:00 am on Monday, September 11th for the IRONMAN World Championship 70.3 setup and race.
