Here are upcoming street closings for Sept. 2-4:

Saturday

FCA 5K: The right westbound lane of Amnicola Hwy.
will be closed between 6:30am and 9:30am from the entrance to Chattanooga State to the entrance of the TN Riverpark for this race that benefits the Greater Chattanooga / Southeast Tennessee Fellowship of Christian Athletes. Visit www.chattanoogafca.org for more information. 

South Chattanooga BBQ Contest: Central Ave., E. 36th St. and Dorris St. will be closed north of E. 37th St. from 8am to 8pm for the first public event held in the new South Chattanooga Park. This BBQ Contest starts at 12pm and ends at 7pm. Visit the organization's Facebook page for more information.

Run of Honor 8K: Road closures for this event include Main St between Madison St. and Carter St., as well as lane closures on Bailey Ave, Central Ave. and S. Holtzclaw Ave from 6am to 10amThe Run of Honor 8K and 1 mile fun run is held to support the public servants of our community and is organized together with the Fraternal Order of Police from Rock City and the Chattanooga Market. This certified scenic course will take you to historic Main St. and around the Chattanooga National Cemetery. Visit runofhonor.org for more information.

Chattanooga Market 2017: Reggie White Blvd. will be closed from the entrance to the Chattanooga Skate Park to West 19th Street on Sunday, September 3rd from 6am to 8pm. Chattanooga Market is the region’s largest producer-only marketplace, established to provide healthy, fresh produce, artisan foods, as well as locally-produced arts and craft wares to Chattanoogans and community visitors. IRONMAN 70.3 World Championship SetupRiverside Drive/Riverfront Parkway between Aquarium Way and Molly Lane, Chestnut Street and Power Alley between Aquarium Way and Riverfront Parkway, and the southbound Veterans Bridge ramp to Riverside Drive will be closed from 9:00 am Monday, September 4th until 5:00 am on Monday, September 11th for the IRONMAN World Championship 70.3 setup and race.
