Two people were injured, one critically, in an accident on Highway 153 on Tuesday evening.
The Traffic Division was called to a crash scene involving a motorcycle with critical injuries.
A Yamaha motorcycle driven by Jeremy Reed, 25, was traveling northbound on 500 Highway 153, when it collided with a Chevrolet Colorado, driven by Dustin Swafford, 21, ahead.
Hope Stanfield, 18, was a passenger on the motorcycle.
After initial contact, Ms. Stanfield vaulted over the truck and came to final rest on the asphalt a short distance in front of the truck. The motorcycle and Mr. Reed came to final rest behind the truck. Both motorcycle riders were both transported to a local hospital for sustained injuries. Mr Reed was listed in stable condition and Ms. Stanfield was in critical condition. Mr. Swafford was not injured.
