Dave And Ron Wilburn With Jere Haskew Play At Charles And Myrtle's Saturday

  • Wednesday, August 30, 2017

Dave and Ron Wilburn with Jere Haskew will perform at Charles and Myrtle's Coffeehouse on Saturday at 8 p.m.  The coffeehouse is inside Christ Unity Church at 105 McBrien Road.  There is a $10 suggested donation at the door.

Review for Dan and Ron Wilburn:

Dave Wilburn is 96 now and still going strong.  He is sharp as a tack and still a fine mandolin and guitar player. He made his live on air radio debut in 1933, 84 years ago.

He's likely the oldest singer/songwriter out there today. Still doing 100+ dates a year driving his van from the east coast to the west.

Ron was a member of the famed New Christy Minstrels.
