After a thorough investigation by Chattanooga Police Department homicide detectives, a suspect in the murder of Isaac Queen is in custody.
Chattanooga Police with assistance from the United States Marshal Service Southeast, the Gulf Coast Regional Fugitive Task Force, and the Fulton County Georgia Sheriff's Office apprehended Bynum on Wednesday in Montgomery, Ala.
Bynum will be held in the Montgomery County Jail on fugitive from justice charges pending extradition on his outstanding warrants.
Chattanooga Police are charging Bynum with criminal homicide, possession of a firearm during the commission of a dangerous felony, and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
Isaac Queen, 30, was shot and killed outside the Hampton Inn on Shallowford Road early Monday morning.
Chattanooga Police responded to a shots fired call at 7013 Shallowford Road at 12:52 a.m.
Patrol officers arrived on the scene to find a person lying on the sidewalk suffering from a gunshot wound.
He was pronounced dead on the scene.
