Maker Fest Fall Fun Day To Be Held Sept. 16

Middle Valley Church of  God, 1703 Thrasher Pike in Hixson, announces a special Maker Fest Fun Day for Saturday, Sept. 16 from 1-3 p.m. in the church Family Life Center.  

"This three-hour adventure lets kids move through a variety of stations; each one focuses on a different project or ability and each one reminds attendees that they are created uniquely as God's masterpiece," officials said. "Guests will enjoy hands-on experiences, crafts, and snacks - all while learning they are a masterpiece created by God."

Trunk Or Treat Offered At Wesley Memorial United Methodist Church On Oct. 27

Cub Scout Pack 3037, Troop 137, and Wesley Memorial United Methodist Church at 6314 East Brainerd Road, will be hosting a Trunk or Treat on Saturday, Oct. 27, from 5-7 p.m. in the parking lot at the church. City Placing New Penalties On Use Of Cell Phones In School Zone And By Drivers Under 18
