Hawkinsville Missionary Baptist Church, 7463 Pinewood Dr., will be celebrating the 107th Church Anniversary and Homecoming on Saturday, Aug. 26 with recording artist Minister Tim White of Chicago in concert. Also featuring Pastor Corey Prather, Larry Hurston and Genuine, Olivet Baptist Church Choir, and Darius Ware and Inspirational Praise Mass Choir. Concert time is 6 p.m.
Sunday, Aug. 27 at 11 a.m. morning worship, the guest preacher will be Minister White. Homecoming Dinner will be following the morning worship service.
Hawkinsville is located in the East Brainerd, Tyner, and Bonny Oaks community. The entire community is invited to share in this day of celebration and reflection. Dr. Bobby L. Hampton, Sr. is senior pastor.
