CPD Cautions Public To Slow Down And Stay Alert In School Zones

With Hamilton County schools about to begin the 2017-2018 school year, the Chattanooga Police Department is encouraging all motorists to be mindful of school zones and school buses on the roads.  

"After a couple months of driving without school buses on the roads and students walking/biking to/from school, drivers can often forget the challenges of driving in school zones. 

"CPD Officers will be monitoring school zones in the city to ensure motorists are practicing safe driving and are in compliance with the law," officials said.
