2 New Apartment Complexes Proposed For North Chattanooga

Two new apartment complexes are being proposed for rapidly-changing North Chattanooga.

The Henry Apartments at 341 Stringer St. is to have 60 apartment units.

The maximum height of the single apartment building would be three stories or 40 feet.

The site is near Gurley Street just off Cherokee Boulevard.

There would be 52 parking spaces provided on site.

Developer John Wise is planning an apartment building with 23 units at 530 N. Market St.

It is at the southeast corner of Bell Avenue.

Elemi is the architect for the North Market Apartments.

The two projects go before the Planning Commission next Monday at 1 p.m. at the County Courthouse.

The Planning Agency Staff is recommending approval for both.
