Blairsville's Jonathan Davenport Wins $50,000 WORLD 100 At Eldora Ohio Dirt Track

The most prestigious event of the season the 47th annual World 100 contested at Tony Stewart's Eldora Speedway in Roseburg, Ohio was won Saturday night by Blairsville, Ga.'s Jonathan Davenport.

The dirt track SUPERMAN lead all 100 laps for the $50,000 prize.

Second was Pennsylvania's Greg Saterlee, third was Tennessee's Mike Marlar. Fourth was fellow Georgian Dale McDowell and fifth was Kentucky's Darrell Lanigan.

On a side note, a lucky fan in attendance Saturday won the nights 50/50 ticket drawing worth over $38,000.

The event drew 102 competitors from 15 different states. Davenport is the first in 14 years to lead the World 100 feature from flag to flag.
