Staff members at Cleveland State Community College received recognition for voluntarily completing Level One Advisor Training, the basic course that all faculty are required to complete.

This includes such topics as an overview of types of advising, making referrals, the new student intake process, and using some of the advising software tools.

One staff member, Juliann Mathis, completed the Level Two training which goes more in-depth on several advising topics, and those advisors have increased access to student information, as well as more ability to correct student issues.
