Iris E. Parton, 89, of Chattanooga, died on September 11, 2017.

Mrs. Parton was a former resident of Pelham, Al. and Anniston, Al. She retired from Anniston Surgical P.A. after many years of service.

Mrs. Parton was a member of Hickory Valley Community Church and was preceded in death by four sisters and her husband, Thomas H. Parton.

Survivors are her son, Larry J. Parton, Orange Beach, AL;  sister, Joyce Womack, Chattanooga;  grandchildren,  Christopher Parton, Helena, AL., Suzanne Crew, Houston, TX., Shelby Riddle, Homewood, AL and Charles McLean, Lexington, SC;  11 great-grandchildren,  Andrew & Avery Parton; Aerin, Jack, Charlie & Isabel Crew;  Quinton & Eliza Riddle ;  Rachel, Hannah & Rebecca McLean.

Graveside services will be held on Saturday, Sept. 16, at 11 a.m. at Hamilton Memorial Gardens with Reverend Duke Stone officiating.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Hickory Valley Community Church, 2201 Hickory Valley Road, Chattanooga, Tn. 37421.

The family will receive friends on Friday, Sept. 15, from 6-8 p.m. at Heritage Funeral Home, 7454 E. Brainerd Road.
