Kenneth Burke
Kenneth Hamler Burke, 54, passed away on September 9, 2017.
He graduated from Tyner High School in the class of 1980. He also studied drafting at the Academy of Professional Drafting in Atlanta.
He is survived by his bride of 25 years, Marvis A. Burke; daughter and pride and joy, Marresa A. Burke; son, Kenny Burke, Miami, FL; mother, Mrs. Susie (Hamler) Burke of Chattanooga; one aunt, Patsy (Hamler) Weston of Cleveland, OH; father-in-law, Willie B. Carter; sister-in-law, Melanie A. Carter, two brothers-in-law, Maurice and Michel Carter, all of Chattanooga; a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral service will be held on Friday, Sept. 15, at Union Grove Baptist Church, at noon with Pastor Glen P. Taylor officiating. Interment: National Cemetery.
The body will lie in state after noon on Thursday, Sept. 14.
The family will receive friends from 6-7 p.m. at John P. Franklin Funeral Home, 1101 Dodds Ave., 622-9995.
