Brian P. Allen, 48, of Hixson, Tennessee, passed away on Monday, September 11, 2017.

He was born on April 20, 1969, in Chattanooga. He worked in the family business Allen Surveying.

He was preceded in death by his father, Lee Allen, brother, Greg Bice and grandparents, Eldon and Marie Petty.

Survivors include his mother, Gail Allen, of Hixson, Tn., four brothers, Phillip Bice, of Hixson, Robert L. Allen and wife Cheryl, of Alpharetta, Ga., L. David Allen and wife Mary, Stephen Allen, sister, Deborah Gregory, all of Chattanooga, one uncle and several aunts, cousins, nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 5–8 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 14, at the funeral home.

A private graveside service will be held by the family with Dr. Donald Ziegler and Perry Johnson officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Falling Water Baptist Tabernacle, 603 Jackson Road, Hixson, Tennessee 37343 or the Humane Educational Society, 212 N. Highland Park Ave., Chattanooga, Tn. 37404.
