Allmon, Clifford Lee

Clifford Lee Allmon, 92, of Fort Oglethorpe went home to be with the Lord Wednesday, Sept. 13, 2017 at his home. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force, serving in World War II, and has lived in Fort Oglethorpe for the past 46 years. Clifford was a former member at Brainerd Baptist Church and a member at Cloud Springs Baptist Church. He was retired from Memorial Hospital and Associated Adjusters.

Survivors include his loving wife of 50 years, Sue Allmon; son, Kenneth (Tina) Gilreath, Knoxville and daughter, Ginger Gail Johnston, Ringgold; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Friday at the funeral home chapel with Pastor Bill Gardner officiating. Interment will follow in Lakewood Memory Gardens, South.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Cloud Springs Baptist Church Missions Fund.
