Hub Building Parking Garage Downtown Sells For $7 Million

The Hub Building parking garage downtown has been sold for $7 million.

The 426-space garage is by the three-story building that was once home to the Hub Furniture Company.

The sale was to Lpri Al Chattanooga Ownership Group Llc from Broad Street Garage Associates.

Berry & Hunt purchased the Hub Building from BlueCross BlueShield in September 2008.

Steve Hunt of Berry & Hunt was one of the owners of the garage, which is at 629 Broad St.

The Hub Building itself is at 631 Broad St.

Mr. Hunt said all those now parking in the garage will continue to do so. There re some 40-50 excess spaces, he said.

He said Berry & Hunt will continue to manage the garage.
