Lamaurea Summervill
A drug deal that ended in a robbery on Grove Street has resulted in the arrest of Lamaurea Summerville.
Summerville, 20, of 7116 Tyner Crossing, is charged with aggravated robbery, criminal trespassing, evading arrest, possession of a controlled substance and having drugs for resale.
In an incident on Sunday, Christopher Thompson said he contacted Summerville via Facebook about a drug transaction. He said they formerly were co-workers.
He said Summerville arrived at his residence with two other black males that he did not know.
He said as he was walking to retrieve some drugs he heard one of the suspects stated, "Give me all your ----. Where are you hiding it?"
Then he was hit in the head with a gun and lost consciousness, it was stated.
When he came to he found that all his drugs were gone along with his roommate's laptop computer and TV.
He said he drug he was selling was Conazolam. He said the drugs were packaged in clear vials with a clear liquid. There were 30-40 vials.
A short time later, officers observed two people on the Westside who matched the description of the suspects. When an officer approached, they began running in different directions. One was carrying a laptop computer, but he dropped it. That suspect - Summerville - was chased and taken into custody.
About 30 clear vials with a clear liquid in them were found on Summerville. The laptop was identified as the one taken in the robbery.
Police said Summerville said, "I shouldn't have taken dude's laptop."
Thompson immediately picked Summerville out of a lineup.
