Johnny Ray Lingerfelt, Jr., 48, of Cleveland, passed away Friday, Sept. 15, 2017. He was a lifelong resident of the Chattanooga and North Georgia areas and was of the Christian faith. He was a truck driver for most of his life and was employed with Pasco Trucking Company. He loved spending time outdoors, being around friends and family and was a true shade tree mechanic. He was a loving and devoted son, father, brother and grandfather who will be truly missed by all who knew him.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Dortha Lane; brother, Mike Cox and nephew, Eric Butler.
Survivors include his parents, Johnny Ray and Louise Lingerfelt, Sr. of Rossville; daughters, Tabatha and Keith White of Chatsworth, Ga. and Christina Lingerfelt of Rossville; brother, Jamie Lane of Ringgold; sisters, Sherry Butler of Trenton and Donna and Scott Lockwood of Ringgold; eight grandchildren; special friend, Pat Rogers and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.
Funeral services will be held at noon Tuesday, Sept. 19 in the Fort Oglethorpe Chapel with Bro. Pat Rogers officiating. Burial will follow in the Tennessee-Georgia Memorial Park.
