Hixson, East Ridge Post Soccer Wins

The Hixson girls soccer team scored four second half goals Monday night in their 6-0 win over Tyner. 

Morgan Dupree had three saves and one assist.   Sarah Bargerstock, Emily Darr and Mollie Bishop each had a goal. 

Sydney Rigler had four saves for Hixson. 

Hixson travels to Red Bank on Tuesday for a 7 p.m. match.  

Also on Monday, East Ridge's Kendall Dickson scored in overtime to beat Red Bank 1-0.  East Ridge managed 24 shots and Red Bank had seven.

 East Ridge Sarah Hudgens had five saves in the shutout.

Voters May Decide In November On Whether To Eliminate City Court; Paving Fund Also Considered

Chattanooga voters in November may get to vote on whether City Court should be abolished. City Council members indicated during budget talks on Tuesday that may be an upcoming referendum question.
