Jose De Jesus Luna
Jose De Jesus Luna, of Dalton, Georgia, departed this life Sunday, September 17, 2017 at Memorial Hospital.
He was born Jan. 28, 1940 in San Luis, Mexico, a son of the late Guadalupe and Carmen Luna. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Guadalupe Rodriguez Luna, and granddaughter, Anjelica Luna.
He is survived by his sons and daughters-in-law, Johnny Luna, Armando and Pilar Luna, Rolando Luna all of Dalton; brothers, Jose Luna of Texas, Raymon Luna of Wyoming, Tony Luna of Dalton; sisters, Ester Solis of Texas, Elicia Hinojosa, Guadalupe Quintero of Dalton, Rosa Luna of Ft. Oglethorpe; and 11 grandchildren, one great-grandchild, several nieces and nephews.
A service to celebrate the life of Jose De Jesus Luna will be held Wednesday, Sept. 20, at 11 a.m. from the Ponders Melrose Chapel. Interment will follow in the Ponders Colonial Hills Memorial Park Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5-9 p.m. Tuesday, Sept.19.
