Five Chattanooga area Morning Pointe senior living and memory care communities participated in the Sept. 16 Alzheimer's Association Walk to End Alzheimer's at the Tennessee Riverpark
For the fourth year in a row, Morning Pointe Senior Living has been recognized for the Top Corporate Team fundraiser during the Sept. 16 Southeast Tennessee Alzheimer's Association's Walk to End Alzheimer's at the Tennessee Riverpark.
This year, the five Chattanooga area Morning Pointe senior living and memory care communities raised approximately $10,000 for the organization.
Associates, residents and families raised money by washing cars, hosting yard sales and selling handmade items among other activities to benefit the Alzheimer's walk.
"Every year we look forward to uniting with the greater community to show our support for a cause that's near and dear to our hearts," said Holly Holcomb, Senior Life Enrichment director at Morning Pointe. "Many of us have been touched by Alzheimer's in some form or fashion, and our residents show they are willing to go the distance to fight back."
