Leeann Pulliam, managing partner of the LongHorn Steakhouse in Cleveland, was presented with the company’s “Community Spirit” Award on behalf of her restaurant team. This award recognizes restaurants that are consistently active and engaged in supporting the communities where LongHorn Steakhouse operates.
“Leeann and her team have shown an outstanding dedication to service and community support,” said Ambra Offutt, director of operations for LongHorn Steakhouse.
“Giving back is a key element in what we do, and this team makes it a priority to create a positive impact in the community.”
Earlier this year, Ms. Pulliam and her team were recognized for their involvement with the Boys and Girls Club, local schools and the cooking classes they put on for students. Additionally, the team takes pride in getting to know their guests and learning of the community efforts they are passionate about, so that the restaurant can also get involved.
Ms. Pulliam’s restaurant supports Women at the Well Ministries as part of LongHorn Steakhouse Harvest. Through the program, Women at the Well Ministries receives wholesome, surplus food, such as meat, fish and vegetables, from the restaurant on a weekly basis. To date, the Cleveland LongHorn has donated more than 22,100 pounds of food to local nonprofits through this program.
