Michael Pratt Finlayson, 49, of Whitwell, TN, passed away Sunday, September 17, 2017.
Michael was a member of Messiah’s Bondservant Ministry, and was a chef and a long time employee of Whitwell Pizza. Michael worked for many years at his mother’s restaurant, Annie’s, in Luverne, Al.
Michael is preceded in death by his mother, Laura Ann Finlayson; grandparents, Cecil and Casa Mae Cullip, of Mexico Beach, Fl., and Margarite Finlayson, of Mariana, Fl.; and great-grandparents, Marion Webster and Laura Mae Tate of Cartwright, Tn.
Michael leaves his father, Jack Finlayson; daughter, Miranda Nicole DeHart; granddaughter, Magnolia Marie Faye DeHart; sister, Wendy Smith (Mark); brother, David Cecil Finlayson (Jamie); aunt, Jeanette Cullip Palmer; nieces, Avery and Laney; nephew, River, and many cousins to cherish his memory.
A celebration of Michael’s life will be held at 1 p.m. CST, on Saturday, Sept. 23, at Messiah’s Bondservant Ministry, in Cartwright, Tn., with Brother William Dick officiating.
The family will receive friends following the service.
