William Jerry Parsons, 71, lifelong resident of Chattanooga passed away on Monday, Sept. 18, 2017. He graduated from the TN School for the Deaf in Knoxville “Class of 1966” and was employed with the Catoosa County Board of Education.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Mary Parsons; wife, Linda Hoosier Parsons.
He is survived by his three children, Kari Parsons, Tracy Parsons and Mark Parsons; one sister, Lynn Parsons; one brother, Michael Parsons; five grandchildren, David, Jordan, Kaylei, Trent and Shayla; one great grandson on the way; one niece.
Funeral service will be held on Friday, Sept. 22 at 3 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Dale Oxendine officiating. The family will receive friends 4-8 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 21 and up to the funeral service hour on Friday at the funeral home.
