Anna Kathleen Henley, 33, of Chattanooga, Tennessee, passed away peacefully on Monday, September 18, 2017.

Anna worked as an Information Technology Sales consultant for MSA. She was a graduate from Boyd Buchanan High School and received a master’s degree from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga in Research Psychology. Anna worked as a graduate assistant for United Way. She loved her Bible study with Growing in Grace Ministries and worshipped with Calvary Chapel. Her passion was working with Young Life girls.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Bill and Ave Bareham and Ralph and Helen Henley.

Survivors include her parents, Thomas and Ave Henley of Chattanooga; brother, Matthew (Chelsea) Henley of Harrison; aunts and uncles: Butch and Susan Feher, Keith and Judy Jordan, Clint and Kathryn Henley, Clay and Kelley Henley, Peter Henley, Morella Bareham and Doug and Shelley Mathews; numerous loving and fun cousins; and her beloved dog, Sophie.

“Anna Kate”, the definition of adventurous. Her laughter, energy, spirit and smile were contagious. A true friend, Anna gave of herself completely. She was a beautiful young woman who’s first priority was God. Family was her rock and friends her refuge. The ongoing celebration of her life is amazing and awe-inspiring. Her memory is alive in our hearts until we see her again.

Visitation will be on Sunday, Sept. 24, from 1-3 p.m. with a Celebration of Anna’s life at 3 p.m. at Central Church of Christ, 400 Vine Street, Chattanooga, with Steven Walker Campbell officiating. 

A private burial will be in Chattanooga Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Young Life, P.O. Box 6231, Chattanooga, Tn. 37401.
