NAACP Prayer Vigil And Peace Walk Set For Oct. 1

The NAACP and Coalition Partners will have a Prayer Vigil and Peace Walk on Oct. 1.
 
Organizers said, "Bring your signs and candles. We are walking  for justice, equality, equity, parity, human rights, better education for our children, better housing, fighting extreme poverty in Chattanooga, equal opportunity for minority contractors, DACA, the right for the LGBT community to serve in the military, and to fight against hatred, bigotry, violent crimes and gang violence."

A booth will be set up on Oct. 1 for membership and voter registration. 
 
Meetings are the third Monday of every month at 756 E. MLK, from at 6-7 p.m.
