Nikki Guffey, 19, of Cleveland, formerly of Etowah, passed away on Monday evening, September 26, 2017.
She attended Etowah City School, McMinn Central High School and Bradley Central High School and was a member of Big Springs Baptist Church. She had a love for art and animals, spending time outdoors, and spending time with her family and friends.
Nikki was preceded in death by her mother, Angela Stamey Guffey; maternal grandfather, Tommy Stamey; paternal grandfather, Raymond Curtis Guffey; step grandfather, J.R.Freeman ; and cousin, Shawna Merrill Reisparger.
Survivors include her father, Jason (April) Guffey of Sweetwater; brothers, O'Bryan Stamey of Cleveland, Alex Benson of Benton, Patrick Benson of Etowah, Curtis Guffey of Etowah, and Dakota Martin of Sweetwater; maternal grandmother, Sue (Dewayne) Smith of Cleveland; and paternal grandmother, Joyce Guffey of Etowah. Several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and other extended family and numerous friends also survive.
A Celebration of Life and Homegoing for Nikki Guffey will be held at 7 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 29, at the chapel of Serenity Funeral Home.
The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home prior to the service.
