McCallie Middle Schoolers To Wash Chattanooga Police Patrol Cars Monday

  • Friday, September 8, 2017
Middle School students from McCallie School will show their appreciation to Chattanooga police officers by washing police vehicles during a special event Monday.

McCallie’s Middle Men, a leadership group for eighth-graders, will show their appreciation for area law enforcement by hosting a car wash from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Monday with patrol cars, SWAT team vehicles, and officers with canine unit vehicles coming to campus for middle school students to "give back" and thank officers for all they do for the community.

In addition to washing cars, the Middle Men will be serving hamburgers and hot dogs to the officers for lunch while they are on campus. The car wash and cookout will be held in the Middle School circle at the front entrance to McDonald Hall on McCallie’s campus.
