Kitchen Fire Displaces 1 Adult And 3 Children

At 12:37 p.m. on Friday, the Chattanooga Fire Department responded to a structure fire at 601 N. Germantown Road. Four fire companies responded.
 
The fire had been extinguished by the occupants, but the kitchen had substantial damage. 
 
 No one was injured. 
 
The cause of the fire has been been ruled accidental, most likely from food being left unattended on the stove.
 
Red Cross was notified to assist the family affected.
