Pair Charged In Robbery On Crest Drive

A man who said he had contacted another male for smoking marijuana told police he wound up getting robbed.

Demetrius Clay, 18, of 3504 E. Crest Dr., was charged with aggravated robbery.

Police identified a second suspect as well.

The victim said he was in a car with Clay on E. Crest Drive  when a black male wearing a gray hoodie approached them brandishing a handgun. He said he fought with the male over the gun, then he said Clay came to the gunman's defense.

The pair eventually gained control of the gun and took the victim's wallet, it was stated.

The second suspect was located at Bonny Oaks and was identified by the victim. 

He also identified Clay as the person he originally met.
