Luversia “Sister” M. Heath, 90, passed away on Tuesday, January 9, 2018, in Chattanooga.
She was born on January 17,1927, to the parents of the late James Sr. and Annie B. McClure. Being a Lady of great faith Luversia was  active in the church at whatever was required of her.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Curnel L. Health Sr., son, Curnel L. Heath, Jr., brother, James McClure Jr., son-in-law, Charles L. Meadows.
She is survived by her daughter, Nyoka M. Meadows, six grandchildren, Andrea (Ronald) Jackson, Charles (Constance) Meadows, Anthony (Angela) Meadows, Kimberly (Mark Sr.) Colen, Curnel L. Heath III, Schuylar (Courtney) Simon, adopted grandson, Curtis (Telisa) Brooks and 12 great-grandchildren, seven great-great-grandchildren and very special cousins, Thelma Ballanger and Jimmy Collins and many other cousins and friends.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, Jan. 15, in the chapel, Pastor James Merriwether officiating. 
The body will lie in state on Sunday, Jan. 14, after noon, and the family will receive friends from 6–7 p.m. at John P. Franklin Funeral Home, 1101 Dodds Ave., 622-9995.

Firefighters Battle 2-Alarm Fire On Workman Road Tuesday Morning

Chattanooga firefighters were dispatched at 6:03 a.m. on Tuesday, to a commercial fire at 400 Workman Road.
