Raines, Jean (Whitwell)

Jean Raines, 79, of Whitwell, passed away Thursday, January 11, 2018.  Mrs. Raines was a member of the Church of Christ in Whitwell. 

She was preceded in death by her parents; Foster and Josephine Miller; brothers, Henry and J.C.; sisters, Anna Ruth, Mildred, Linda, Alvena and Betty Jo. 

Those left to cherish her memories are her husband of 60 years, Jerry Raines; two daughters, Jeria Raines and Jaya (Jeff) Raines Ailshie; sister, Naomi Holloway; brother, Clifford Miller; numerous nieces and nephews; and a host of friends. 

Family will receive friends 10 a.m.-1 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 13, with funeral service at 1 p.m., Saturday in the funeral home chapel, with Minister Freddie Clayton officiating.  Interment at Condra Cemetery.

WACKER-Charleston Taking Initial Steps To Restart Polysilicon Production After Explosion Shut Facility Last September
