Cambridge Square, Ooltewah’s growing commercial, entertainment, and residential community, has added three new office tenants, according to Marketing and Leasing Director Jim Cheney. Additionally, in response to the increasing demand for professional space, Cambridge Square has expanded its flex space office portfolio to accommodate small business owners seeking shorter term lease arrangements.
The new tenants are Camp Big Fish, a multi-faceted summer camp and after-school organization with operations in Chattanooga and Knoxville; The Southern Agency, a full service, locally owned insurance firm; and Root: A Center for Optimal Living (Root), a start-up chiropractic practice that applies holistic methods for full-body wellness and health.
Camp Big Fish and The Southern Agency moved into their second story offices earlier this month. Root will take possession of its space near the end of the first quarter of 2018.
All three tenants are occupying what Cambridge developers are identifying as flex office space. The concept enables smaller business owners to occupy class A space without the requirement of a long-term lease. Spaces range from 500 square feet of adjoined offices to approximately 200 square feet for a single office space; license terms range from three to 12 months, and can be converted to permanent lease agreements at any time. Flex spaces and suites include client reception area, kitchen, utilities, and wireless access. Second floor spaces can be accessed by two stairwells and an elevator opening into the upstairs lobby.
“We want to extend a warm welcome to these three new tenants,” Mr. Cheney said. “They are all highly skilled professionals and we are very excited that they have chosen Cambridge Square to grow their respective businesses. We are also encouraged by the continued interest we are receiving from professionals who are ready to move out of home offices or just want to start a small practice in a desirable location that offers more than a traditional suburban strip center. We encourage people to get in touch with us if that sounds like a direction in which they want to move.”
