Coyote Jack's Won't Close - And Response

  • Friday, January 19, 2018

It is a shame that both Ms. James and Ms. Madhue will be disappointed when they are told that this establishment will not be closing; regardless of its deadly past.  Why, you ask?  Well, if as the article states that both Bella Vita and Coyote Jack’s are under the same ownership, that ownership lies within the hands, at least partially, by the Berke family.  Yes, our esteemed mayor’s uncle and local attorney, Ronnie Berke, was/is involved in their ownership.

How do I know?  The one visit I made to Bella Vita I was told by a member of the wait staff that Ronnie Berke owned it.  I doubt that you can get much better information, unless of course, we let “the horse speak for itself.”  For that reason, no member of the Beer Board is going to offend not-my-mayor Berke or his family and vote to close the establishment.

I find it ironic that not-my-mayor Berke was so upbeat about his Violence Reduction Initiative, when his uncle owns one of the most dangerous places in town.  However, you be the judge.

Rusty, I have been given the same information but I’m willing to do whatever I can to continue to be a voice for my brother.

It’s sad that this establishment is even allowed to continue operations in this city due to its violent history. I’ve spoken to other people about this place and they like you got the same vibe after being there.

My vow to my baby brother on Dec. 17, 2017 as I stood over his lifeless 22-year-old body was to do everything in my power to get this place closed down and my voice will be heard.

I appreciate you taking the time out to voice your opinion and I believe if more people would do so then just maybe the board’s hand will be forced.
