2,751 Motorists Purchase "In God We Trust" License Plates, According To County Clerk Bill Knowles

According to County Clerk Bill Knowles, 2,751 motorists have now been issued the “In God We Trust” license plate.

He said, "This year-end total represents 532 motorists who requested the plate in December. The law creating the ‘In God We Trust’ plate last July calls for a one-time $2 fee in addition to normal registration fees when swapping an existing tag, renewing a current registration, or making application for a vehicle title."
