William Evans
William Isaac Evans passed into the next life on January 21, 2018.
He was born in Cheatham County, Tn., and moved to Chattanooga to begin his life with his beloved wife of 62 years, Bonnie L. Evans.
After his military service, he began his career at Trailways and Greyhound Bus Lines, where he worked until retirement. He was a member of Bayside Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Bonnie, his parents, Pete and Bertie Evans, and his siblings.
He is survived by his children and daughters-in-law, Tammy, Billy, Kerry, Kari and his grandkids, Jonah, Abby, Lilli, and nieces, Linda and Dean, and many nephews.
He was a kind, generous man, and is deeply loved and greatly missed.
Friends are welcome from 4-7 p.m., on Jan. 24, at Chattanooga Funeral Home North Chapel on Highway 153, and at the same location for the graveside service at noon on Jan. 25.
