Peggy Carlisle
Peggy Jean Perkins Carlisle, 75, went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on Tuesday, January 23, 2018.
She was born in Chattanooga to the late James and Juanita Perkins. Peggy was a 1966 graduate at Kirkman High School. She was a former employee with 3M/GE, before attending Highland Beauty Academy. Peggy was a cosmetologist, working with Rivermont Coiffure and the Manor House. She was a CNA for North Park Home Health and she also worked for Hutcheson Medical Center. Peggy was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Edward Perkins.
She is survived by a son, Danny (Rebecca) Avans; daughter, Debbie (Steve) Gates; two grandchildren, Aaron and Emily Elyse; sister, Kathy (Keith) Carpenter; one niece and three nephews.
The family will receive friends from 4-8 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 26, and 12-2:30 p.m. on Saturday at the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home.
A Celebration of Life service will follow at 2:30 p.m.on Saturday at the North Chapel with Brother Ricky Kesley officiating. Interment will be in Hamilton Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
