Alice Pauline Simons Buchanan, 66, of Flintstone, passed away on Tuesday, January 23, 2018. She was a lifelong resident of North Georgia and was of the Christian faith. She retired from the Wal-Mart Corporation as a customer service manager, after more than 12 years. Alice was a loving mother, grandmother and sister, who will be greatly missed.
She was preceded in death by her parents, William P. Simons and Lois Charlene Simpson, and sisters, Deborah Shirley and Cynthia Young.
She is survived by her children, Paula Simpson of Ellenton, Fl., Chris (Tara) Simpson of Fort Oglethorpe and Brandi Brown of Flintstone; five grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
A private family memorial will be held at a later date.
