Frederick Williamson
Frederick "Fred" C. Williamson, Jr., passed away on Tuesday, January 23, 2018, following a brief illness.
Survivors include his wife, Joyce, daughter, Leslie Ann Williamson of Antioch, stepson, Chris Hannah, daughter-in-law, Stephanie Hannah, Granddaughters Kelda Lynn Sturgis of College Grove, Savanna Hannah of Chattanooga and Grandson Garrick Hannah.
He was preceded in death by wife, Gail M. Williamson, son, Frederick Williamson III, and brother, Floyd M. Williamson.
Fred was born in Birmingham, and graduated from University of Alabama with a mechanical engineering degree.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Brainerd United Methodist, 4315 Brainerd Road, Chattanooga, Tn. 37411.
Visitation scheduled on Saturday, from 4-6 p.m. with funeral service,a celebration of a life well lived, at 6 p.m. with reception to follow at Chattanooga Funeral Home on Moore Road.
Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. on Monday, Jan. 29, at Chattanooga National Cemetery with full military honors.
